- Discuss Oil and Gas, BKS Cepu Block Goes to Campus
As part of the BKS social event, BKS Cepu Block visited several schools around the Cepu Block operations, such as SMKN Ngambon, SMKN Ngasem, SMKN Purwosari, SMAN Tambakrejo, and the Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University Campus to share information about oil and gas.
During this activity, the initial stages of the major project in Banyu Urip Blok Cepu were discussed. Then, the Central Processing Facility (CPF) was discussed as the place where Banyu Urip oil is processed before being transported to oil storage tankers in the middle of the Tuban sea. Finally, the Jambaran Tiung Biru (JTB) gas project was discussed.
Not only about the Cepu Block project, this activity also discussed the opportunities and challenges of a career in Regional Owned Enterprises, especially those engaged in the oil and gas sector.
The President Director of PT Asri Dharma Sejahtera said that the Cepu Block Cooperation Agency (BKS) has made various transformations in BUMD.

One of the transformations carried out was to provide broad opportunities for the younger generation, especially students, to learn about oil and gas and share about career opportunities in the oil and gas world. This was proven by the implementation of a BKS social event that involved academics to participate as collaboration partners.
‘The more young people there are, the more culture will change. BKS provides opportunities for students to also share their knowledge about the oil and gas industry business,’ said the Managing Director of PT ADS.
The BKS social event involving academics, especially students, is a form of openness and opportunity for the younger generation to pursue a career in the oil and gas business. ‘The key to success is honing soft skills. The younger generation must become a generation of learners, disciplined in time management and expanding their networking,’ he said.
During the BKS Goes to School and Campus event, there was also a talk show session with various speakers who explained the business under the auspices of the 4 BUMD BKS PI Cepu Block.
The President Director of PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana Hadi Ismoyo and the Director of PT Sarana Patra Hulu Cepu Suko Hartono gave presentations on the management of Participating Interest (PI) capital participation carried out by 4 Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) and the role of BUMD managing PI Blok Cepu.
Meanwhile, BKS Blok Cepu is a consortium of four regionally-owned enterprises (BUMD) that manage Participating Interest capital investments.
"We work through the Cepu Block Cooperation Agency (BKS) to manage a 10% Participating Interest (PI) capital investment, with the distribution being PT Asri Dharma Sejahtera (4.48%), PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana (2.24%), PT Blora Patragas Hulu (2.18%), and PT Sarana Patra Hulu Cepu (1.09%),” explained PT SPHC Director Suko Hartono.
